COVID-19 Care at Orchard Hills

COVID-19 has made it necessary for us to implement changes to better serve you and your pet, while keeping our staff safe. Please review this page prior to your pet’s next visit. Even though we are all tired of hearing about COVID and we are suffering COVID fatigue when it comes to dealing with wearing masks and social distancing, the COVID virus is, unfortunately, still very prevalent and is even still on the rise in many areas. Because of this, we continue to follow our curbside patient care model and we are still having to enforce our mask policies.

When You Arrive

When you arrive for your pet’s appointment, please check in through the PetDesk App or by TEXTING us at 360-836-2013 with your name, your pet’s name, and your parking spot number. We do ask that you wear a mask while interacting with any of our staff.

Our Mask Policy

Our mask policy is as follows:

  • A face mask covering the mouth and nose must be worn during any face-to-face interaction with any hospital staff, whether these interactions are in the building or outside. This includes people that have been vaccinated.
  • If you do not have a mask to wear that meets our criteria, one will be provided for you.
  • If you can’t wear a face mask for medical or other reasons, we ask that you wear a face shield or consider having a friend or family member bring your pet to the hospital for you.

During Your Visit

Please allow between 30 minutes to one hour for your appointment time. When the doctor is ready to see your pet, a technician will come out to collect your pet and a brief history. Our doctor will then do an exam on your pet. Please keep your cell phone readily available so that the doctor can discuss your pet’s treatment with you once the exam is completed.
